The consultants of Target Research have developed, through primary research activities on tourists and prospects of major tourist destinations, research projects aimed at measuring:

  • the tourists level of satisfaction with all the relevant aspects of the offer and touchpoints
  • the perceptual positioning with regard to the main competing destinations on the relevant aspects for the different tourists segments
  • potential demand, taking into account the supply profile and the perceptions

Furthermore, using advanced analytics models applied to the occupancy data of accommodation facilities combined with pricing data obtained from the main booking sites, a predictive model was developed on the occupancy rate itself. This allows us to dynamically choose pricing and communication policies that are consistent with the commercial and economic-financial objectives set (revenue management).
